Happily Long on Saddam Capture News

Bullish! Glad I am not short. Glad I own some speculative stocks that will go up more than the nonspecs. Happy I have exposure. Those are the thoughts that ran through my head after the joyous news that the tyrant Saddam Hussein got nabbed. This event is one of those unquantifiables that will get people juiced. We buy stocks when we feel good and we sell them when we feel bad. Immediately some of you asked me, "How do you play it?" To which I responded, Mrs. Cramer's rules apply: You should have thought about that Friday." This kind of animal-spirited situation can't be played after the news. Better to be a seller of stuff than a buyer. Too late to make money. Which is why I am glad that I am long! P.S. Some bears will grouse that this capture means nothing. Let them grouse. I would rather make money than grouse.- Loading Comments...
