Cramer's 'Mad Money' Recap: Lightning Round Review

 

On a special edition of "Mad Money" on CNBC Friday, Jim Cramer offered an all-lightning round hour in which he recapped some of the buy and sell ideas he provided to callers during the show in recent weeks.


Getting positive remarks from Cramer were Lennar (LEN), Boeing (BA), Inland Real Estate (IRC), Dean Foods (DF), Zenith National Insurance (ZNT), Nike (NKE), Reebok (RBK), Wolverine World Wide (WWW), Stride Rite (SRR), SL Green (SLG), Eagle Materials (EXP) and Allstate (ALL).

He also had upbeat views on AIG (AIG), CMGI (CMGI), GameStop (GME), Sirius (SIRI), Dover (DOV), Yahoo! (YHOO), Papa John's (PZZA), Genentech (DNA), Aramark (RMK), Offshore Logistics (OLG), J.P. Morgan (JPM), San Juan Basin (SJT), Toll Brothers (TOL) and Chattem (CHTT).

Also receiving Cramer's endorsement were WellPoint (WLP), Skyworks (SWKS), Corning (GLW), Shaw Group (SGR), Engineered Support (EASI), General Dynamics (GD), Sonic Corp. (SONC), Disney (DIS), Ross Stores (ROST), Engelhard (EC), Prudential (PRU), Metris (MXT), Adobe (ADBE), Equity Office (EOP), UPS (UPS), ConocoPhillips (COP), Duke Energy (DUK), Intel (INTC), KB Home (KBH) and ITT Industries (ITT).

Odyssey Re (ORH), XTO Energy (XTO), Timberland (TBL), Nike (NKE), Novatel (NVTL), TurboChef (OVEN) and Lucent (LU) were viewed with optimism, along with McAfee (MFE), Deere (DE), Bowater (BOW), Calpine (CPN), Disney (DIS), Marvell Technology (MRVL), Broadcom (BRCM), Texas Instruments (TXN), National Semiconductor (NSM), Tesoro (TSO), Lockheed Martin (LMT), Northrop Grumman (NOC), Alliant Techsystems (ATK), Enterra Energy (EENC) and Sears Holdings (SHLD).

Cramer also had plenty of bearish calls recently, including Netflix (NFLX), Able Labs (ABRX), Maxtor (MXO), International Securities Exchange (ISE), Canadian Pacific Railway (CP), Nastech Pharmaceutical (NSTK), Heinz (HNZ), Geron (GERN), Mattel (MAT), Magna Entertainment (MECA), Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE), Bank of America (BAC), Nokia (NOK), Biogen Idec (BIIB) and Hot Topic (HOTT).

He also said investors should avoid Earthlink (ELNK), Friedman Billings Ramsey (FBR), Frontline (FRO), Checkfree (CKFR), International Game Technology (IGT), Callaway Golf (ELY), Health Net (HNT), CarMax (KMX), Zebra (ZBRA), Leucadia National (LUK), Krispy Kreme (KKD), Synopsys (SNPS), Ballard Power (BLDP), Oracle (ORCL) and Fuelcell (FCEL)
