Buy Archer Daniels Midland (ADM Quote - Cramer on ADM - Stock Picks), Jim Cramer said Tuesday on CNBC's "Stop Trading!" segment.

Cramer said a Citi upgrade of Monsanto (MON Quote - Cramer on MON - Stock Picks) was a good call, as "the ag business is huge." But Cramer said Archer Daniels is an even better play, given its clout in Congress.

Cramer said Fannie (FNM Quote - Cramer on FNM - Stock Picks) and Freddie (FRE Quote - Cramer on FRE - Stock Picks) also look like good bets right now, particularly if you expect Democrats to "storm the winter palace," or take the White House, in 2008. Cramer said Democratic control of Washington makes these government-sponsored lenders "pantheons of payoffs," which leads to "fat and happy" stock prices.

Cramer expects there to be lots of bids for DaimlerChrysler's (DCX Quote - Cramer on DCX - Stock Picks) Chrysler unit, including perhaps one from "lone wolf" Goldman (GS Quote - Cramer on GS - Stock Picks).

Cramer also likes recent upgrades of financial sector players CIT (CIT Quote - Cramer on CIT - Stock Picks) and MBIA (MBI Quote - Cramer on MBI - Stock Picks), both of which were up 3% Tuesday. But Cramer reserved his strongest praise for Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson, whom he called "the one guy with credibility in this whole world."

At the time of publication, Cramer was long Goldman.
