Here's what Jim Cramer had to say about some of the stocks that callers offered up during the "Mad Money Lightning Round" Wednesday evening:

Pier 1 Imports (PIR): "You don't want it. A virtual train wreck, a House of Pain if there ever were one. ... I want you off Pier 1."

Partner Communications (PTNR): "I think that that's a good company," but Cramer said he is reluctant to push it because "I don't know the full financials."

SunTrust Banks (STI): "I question whether SunTrust ... can stay independent. ... I think there's a lot of ways to win. I'll pull the trigger. ... SunTrust, it's for me."

Cree (CREE): "This proprietary semiconductor stuff, I am not going to endorse here. ... I would ring the register." Cramer recommended Qualcomm (QCOM) and Texas Instruments (TXN) instead.

Nortel Networks (NT): "I'm not a big fan of Nortel." Cramer said he would rather be in Cisco (CSCO).

Starbucks (SBUX): "As it goes lower, it begins to get attractive to me. ... We'ver missed a gigantic decline here. We sidestepped it. At 25, 26, I will revisit Starbucks, and perhaps then I will pull the trigger, but not now."
