Here's what Jim Cramer had to say about some of the stocks that callers offered up during the "Mad Money Lightning Round" Thursday evening:

Apple (AAPL): "What a break you got today." Cramer said to buy the stock and wait "until five days before the iPhone is shipped" to sell it.

Resources Connection (RECN): "This one has very high growth, but it has a premium multiple. ... I would not buy this stock."

Alcoa (AA): "I have been puzzling over Alcoa. ... This stock has now far exceeded my price target, but I still believe it will not be public at this time next year. ... So even though it's had a monster run ... I'm sticking with this stock."

Skechers USA (SKX): "I'm uncomfortable with it. ... They had an inventory problem over the years. ... I think that Skechers is too dangerous."

Sony (SNE): "I think that Sony goes higher. ... How many companies come out with a totally third-rate product that nobody likes?" and still go up, Cramer said, referring to the Sony PlayStation. "I like Sony very much on a pullback." He said to buy at 53, "and at 50, I'm backin' it up* again."

Calgon Carbon (CCC): "No, you've gotta upgrade your portfolio. If you really want to go that filtration game, you go with" Pall(PLL) or Tetra Tech (TTEK). "You just don't go with Calgon Carbon."
