NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Stock futures pointed to a stronger open on Wednesday, riding on optimism spurred by Federal Open Market Committee confidence. Investors are hoping Wednesday's batch of economic data will give them something to be thankful for a day ahead of the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday.
Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 38 points to 10,443 while the S&P 500 rose 4.7 points to 1107.8 and were 3.5 points above fair value. Futures for the Nasdaq rose 8.5 points to 1795.
Major U.S. indices narrowed losses by the close of trading on Tuesday after minutes from an FOMC meeting revealed that policymakers are confident that economic conditions will continue to improve....
