The Top Stocks of Buffett, Soros, Icahn, Pickens

If several people put their heads together on a project, the end result oftentimes can be much greater than what each individual would be able to accomplish on his own. With that line of thinking in mind, Stockpickr decided to look at the stock picks of the "Dream Team" of stock traders -- Warren Buffett, George Soros, Carl Icahn and T. Boone Pickens -- to see if there are any stocks that more than one would agree on.

Stockpickr combed through the lists of all their shareholdings and came up with the stocks where at least two agreed on a particular name.

ConocoPhillips(COP Quote), one of the largest multinational oil companies in the world, is stock held by both Buffett and Soros. The stock has a price-to-earnings ratio of 13, a P/E-to-growth ratio of 1.2 and a yield of 1.9%.

ConocoPhillips appears to be a favorite of several top stock traders including Jim Cramer, longtime Forbes columnist and money manager Ken Fisher and noted value investor Michael Price.

Another stock that Fisher likes is Schlumberger(SLB Quote), which happens to be owned by Pickens as well. Schlumberger has a P/E of 25, a PEG of 1 and a yield of 0.7%. One of Michael Price's picks is Tyco International(TYC Quote), which is also a Buffett holding. Tyco has a forward P/E of 16, a PEG of 0.86 and a yield of 2.7%.

Another stock selection found among the top four is Anadarko Petroleum(APC Quote), which is owned by Pickens and Icahn. Anadarko, which is an oil and gas producer that has wells in the U.S., the Gulf of Mexico and Algeria, just announced that it will continue to drill for natural gas in spite of the drop in gas prices. The stock has a low P/E of 5, a PEG of 4.1 and a yield of 0.7%.
