NetObjects (NETO Quote) was up 121.5% in preopen Island trading on a report from CBS Marketwatch that the software company will announce a three-year multimillion-dollar deal with Hewlett-Packard (HWP Quote) today.
According to the article, the deal allows H-P to use NetObjects software in its digital imaging devices. Hewlett-Packard may renew the deal after two years. NetObjects will receive a price for each device shipped plus a share of revenue from related services, the article said.
