eBay(EBAY Quote) Chief Operating Officer Maynard Webb plans to retire in August, the company said late Monday.
Webb is responsible for corporate operations, including the legal, human resources and corporate technology functions. In 1999, he joined eBay as president of the company's eBay Technologies division and was named operating chief in June 2002. eBay said it has no plans to fill Webb's role. Corporate technology will be jointly managed by Matt Carey, chief technology officer of eBay Marketplaces, and Scott Thompson, chief technology officer of PayPal. eBay shares closed Monday off 9 cents to $34.32.- Loading Comments...
