It's always important to keep a close watch on the fundamentals and performance of any of your mutual funds. But it's also important to know about the wizard behind the curtain pulling on the strings and running your investment.
That's why we're monitoring the manager changes going on at the mutual funds we track. Below is a list of the changes that took place during May.Fidelity
At Fidelity, Daniel Kelley started managing (FSHOX)Select Construction and Housing (FSHOX). Kelley's focus has been on office and residential construction as well as specialized REITs. He arrived at Fidelity in 2005 after stints at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. Elsewhere at Fidelity, Melissa Reilly assumed a managerial position for (FAEAX)Europe Capital Appreciation (FAEAX) and (FIEAX)Advisor Europe Capital Appreciation (FIEAX) and a co-manager position for (FGBLX)Global Balanced (FGBLX). She began at Fidelity in 2004, working primarily in the international food manufacturing, HPC, luxury goods and general retail sectors. Matthew Sabel took the helm at (FACDX)Advisor Health Care (FACDX). He started in Fidelity's equity research department in 2000 after serving as a health care consultant at Putnam Associates. Sabel succeeded Aaron Cooper, who moved to a managing director of research position. Edward (Eddie) Lee Yoon succeeded Cooper, who was also portfolio manager of (FSMEX)Select Medical Equipment and Systems (FSMEX).
