NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- The markets rebounded Monday after weighing the events in Dubai and Black Friday.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 34.92, or 0.34%, to 10,344.84, while the S&P 500 rose 4.14, or 0.38%, to 1,095.63. The Nasdaq rose 6.16, or 0.29%, to 2,144.60.

Joe Terranova said on CNBC's "Fast Money" TV show that the Dubai debt crisis is just one more piece of the puzzle to consider in evaluating the market.

Karen Finerman refrained from any conclusions on the matter. She said the crisis might lead to the sale of commercial assets. She said it was strange that the market's reaction was muted on Wednesday when the news first came out.

Pete Najarian said today's rebound reconfirmed his theory of "Mutual Fund Mondays" in which has seen the market ended on the upside four out of the five weeks in November.

Terranova said there's no question that the market has shaken off the news from Dubai. He said the crisis is a solemn reminder of the challenges of a global economy.

Najarian said the volatility index is finally moving higher as an increasing number of investors seek put protection. Finerman said there's still a lot of cash that wants to move into the market.

Melissa Lee, the moderator of the show, referred to the chart of the day that showed that over the past 100 years, the returns in December exceeded that of any other month.
